BTW, you're a Pinoy, right? Just wondering, is manga (and anime) popular in the Philippines? I mean, are there many publishers kind enough to import and translate manga in your country? And how about the people's appreciation toward them? Do they consider them as children's comsumption (just like here, Indonesia)? Well, in Indonesia, mangas are very well welcomed. Publishers here are very generous! Over 100 new manga titles are published each month! The same thing doesn't apply for anime, though... They seldom air animes here, and if they do, the animes are very children-oriented, and the rating is very low. As the result, many of of the animes were stopped from airing even before reaching the ending. Kinda saddening tho... How in the Philippines?

yes,i'm a pinoy...... i could say that anime is some kind popular here because many channels in the television are for anime only....like animax hero channel and many more,about the publishers here.....there are really few so it not popular here to read mangas of anime..hehe,I know that people here really appreciate it much because some times when i was watching television...sometimes it would say that because of anime the channel's rating became higher and higher so i know that people here really like animes...here also they doesn't stop airing animes...well you're right because if animes were stop to air in here i know it would be kinda saddening.
